COMPETITION REGULATIONS
Article 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
1.2. The Organizing Committee can reject applications for participation in the competition.
1.3. The Amateur Pianists category is intended exclusively for non-professional pianists whose profession is not related to piano practice.
1.4. At the request of the candidate, he or she may receive a certificate of participation in the competition.
1.5. All photos and videos of the participants taken during the competition are the property of the competition.
1.6. All photos and videos sent by the participants to the Organizing Committee of the competition can be used by it for the purpose of advertising the competition at a later date.
Article 2. THE JURY
2.1. The jury has the right not to award all prizes.
2.2. The decision of the jury is final without the right to appeal.
2.3. The jury member does not have the right to vote for the participant with whom he or she is in kinship, as well as for the participant who is his or her current student.
2.4 The jury member has the right to vote for his or her former student provided the teaching activities ended at least one year prior to the competition.
Article 3. CANCELLATION OF THE COMPETITION
3.1. In case of cancellation of the Competition by the Organizing Committee, the registration fee will be paid back to all participants.
PROGRAMME
Young talents: category A
Age: 8 years old and younger
Maximum duration of the programme is 5 minutes
A free program consisting of two or more pieces of different period and different style
Young talents: category B
Age: 9 – 12 years old
Duration of the programme is 7 to 9 minutes
A free program consisting of two or more pieces of different period and different style
Young talents: category C
Age: 13 – 15 years old
Duration of the programme is 10 to 12 minutes
A free program consisting of two or more pieces of different period and different style
Young talents: category D
Age: 16 – 18 years old
Duration of the programme is 12 to 15 minutes
A free program consisting of two or more pieces of different period and different style
Amateur Pianists category
This category is for pianists whose profession is not related to piano practice
Age: 19 years old and older (no age limit)
Duration of the programme is 10 to 15 minutes
A free program consisting of two or more pieces of different period and different style
PRIZES
Young talents: category A: the 1st Prize – 50 €; the 2nd and the 3rd Prizes – honorary diplomas
Young talents: category B: the 1st Prize – 100 €; the 2nd and the 3rd Prizes – honorary diplomas
Young talents: category C: the 1st Prize – 125 €; the 2nd and the 3rd Prizes – honorary diplomas
Young talents: category D: the 1st Prize – 150 €; the 2nd and the 3rd Prizes – honorary diplomas
Amateur Pianists category: the 1st Prize – a recital in Paris; the 2nd and the 3rd Prizes – honorary diplomas
